Desonide Ointment Side Effects

First-time users of desonide ointment or desonide cream may experience a burning or stinging sensation.  Sometimes, itching, redness, acne, and excess hair growth in the affected area occurs.  None of this is cause for alarm, though, if it disappears after a few days.  If anyof these persists, tell your doctor immediately.  In rare cases, skin infections have worsened after using this medication.  Moreover, you should inform your doctor if allergic reactions to this medication occur, although it is unlikely.  Symptoms of allergic reaction include swelling, rashes, itching, severe dizziness, and breathing difficulty .
